Knippa Lecture Series
The 25th Annual Knippa Interfaith/Ecumenical Lecture Series featuring speaker Dr. Amy-Jill Levine, professor of New Testament and Jewish Studies at Vanderbilt University. This years series will focus on “Where Christians get Judaism Wrong; Where Jews get Christianity Wrong” The series will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2011 at 7 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 2331 East 5th Place. An informal reception will follow the event in Knippa Hall.

In recognition of the distinguished ministry of the Rev. Dr. Clarence W. Knippa, an endowment fund for a lecture series was established on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of his ordination. The purpose of the Knippa Interfaith/Ecumenical Lecture Series is to foster and promote understanding, respect and appreciation for the religious and ethical traditions and concerns of others.
