Adrienne Watt receives Paragon Award
Posted on 09/26/2014
Adrienne Watt, OCCJ board member and director of programs, is a 2014 Paragon Award winner, which is presented by Leadership Tulsa. Each year, Leadership Tulsa presents the Paragon Award to three of its members for outstanding leadership contributions to the community. OCCJ staff nominated Adrienne, who was selected as a winner by a panel of experienced community and business leaders.
Adrienne will receive a $3,000 award, which will be donated back to OCCJ. This donation will be used to provide OCCJ programs to the community, including Camp Anytown, Different and the Same, and more.
“I am humbled to be in the tremendous company of Paragon winners and nominees, past and present,” Adrienne said. “I treasure OCCJ for the continuing inspiration in my life and the amazing opportunity to help deliver a transformative experience for youth every year.”
Adrienne and the other winners were selected because they demonstrated extraordinary talents, commitment, leadership and vision in serving our community.
“Adrienne Watt has been a part of the OCCJ family for 20 years and was even a camper at the very first Camp Anytown,” said Jayme Cox, president and CEO of OCCJ. “Her knowledge, talent, dedication and passion have been extremely important to OCCJ’s mission for two decades. Adrienne is a perfect fit for this award, and we’re so happy to see her leadership recognized by Leadership Tulsa.”
Now celebrating its 25th year anniversary, the Paragon Awards is an annual celebration recognizing Leadership Tulsa members. The Paragon Awards ceremony is set for 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23. Reservations are $40. To purchase a ticket to see Adrienne receive her award, contact Leadership Tulsa at (918) 477-7079.
